Kheer / Payasam



Ingredients:

Milk - 2 Cups.
Sugar - 1 Cup
Vermicelli (Semya) - 1/2 Kg
Ghee -1 Tbsp
Cashewnut & Dry grapes - 1/2 Cup
Cardamom - 3 Pods
Water - 1 Cup

Method:

Heat Ghee in a frying pan,then add cashewnut and dry grapes in ghee let it fry till cashews turns to golden brown colour and keep it aside

Now take Vermicelli into the pan and add milk.Let it boil till milk bubbles come up.

Then add ghee,Powdered cardmom and sugar to this mixture and water stir it throughly and let it cook for 2 to 3 mins and then take out and serve hot.

Note: The kind of vermicelli I used here does't require frying.
