Palak Curry / Spinach curry



When ever I see spinach it reminds me 'POPEYE'.Leafy vegetables like spinach with its delicate texture have more nutrients than any other food.

One good thing about Spinach is,its available throughout the year.Its most readily available.We can prepare so many varieties with Spinach,but today I am posting a very simple and tasty curry.

All we need

1 large bunch - Spinach
2 r 3 Dry red chilles
1 Small Onion.
1/2 Cup - Chick pea powder(Bhuna chana,pappulu)
1 Tbsp - Mustards
1 Tbsp - Urad dal
1 Tbsp - Chana dal
1 Tbsp - Oil

Method:

Chopp Spinach roughly as shown in the below figure.



Now heat oil,once oil heats add mustards,urad dal,chana dal and red chilles,let it fry till seeds splutter.

Then add chopped onion,fry till onion turns golden colour,then reduce the flame to medium and add spinach.Fry it for 5 mins.

Finally add cheak pea powder and salt,stir it once thats all.....its very healthy recipe and very east too..
