Kosambari is just like Salad.This is popular karnataka food,very common during frestival days.........i am not sure why they call it as 'Kosambari'.This is best breakfast item,as there are no cooked vegetables in this so very good for health point of view.There are lot many options to prepare this,but i like with cucumber and coconut
Ingredients:
1cup - Yellow moong dal(soaked in water for hour)
1/2 Cup - Cucumber
1/2 Cup - Raw coconut
1 r 2 - Green chillies
1 Tbsp - oil
Mustard seeds
Jeera
Salt to taste
Cilentro
Method:
Drain the soaked Moongdal and add grated raw coconut,cucumber and chopped green chilles
Now add oil,mustards and jeera in a frying pan,once mustards start popping pour this to the moongdal mixture and mix well with salt,finally add cilentro
Now taste the healthy breakfast
