Vegetable Biryani



After coming home today it was already 6:30,was just thinking what to prepare for dinner,then suddenly i thought of preparing Vegetable Biryani.So here is my way of Veg Biryani.

2 cups -Steamed Rice
frozen Mixed Vegetables - 1 Cup
2 Green Chilles
1 large - Onion
1 Small Tomato
Ginger Garlic paste
Red chilli powder
Cinnamon stick
Briyani masala
2-4 Cloves
4 tbsp Oil
Salt
Mustards
Jeera

Method:

Add oil in pan,once oil heats add mustards and jeera.

once mustards starts spluttering add ginger & garlic paste and chopped onions.

once onions turn golden colour add slitted green chilles and chopped tomato,let it cook till tomatos become mushy.

Then in a quarter cup water mix cloves,Cinnamon and biryani masala, pour this to the frying onions.

Add frozen vegetables and add half cup water let it cook till the vegetables soften.

Add chille powder, salt, cilantro and add steamed rice to this gravey.

Mix properly without any lumps........mmmmmy your vegitable biriyani is ready.
