Mysore pak



It is one of my all time favorite sweet.This is my first try Check this out.

Ingredients:

Besan - 1 cup (Gram flour)
Sugar - 1 1/2 cup
Ghee - 1 cup
Water - 1 cup
Cardmom powder - 1Tbsp



Procedure::

Dissolve the sugar in the water and bring it for heating.

Keep stirring till you get a single thread consistency (You can check this by feeling the syrup between your fore-finger and thumb).

Now pour the ghee and besan flour in to the sugar syrup without stop stirring.keep stiring until the ghee starts to leave the sides of the pan and the mixture starts
to thicken and turns to become light gold in color.Finally add cardamom powder.



Immediately pour this batter into the greased tray and level it out with a spatula.Cut it into desired shapes.
