Alasanda Vada( Red Bean):



Typical Andhra Snack, Crunchy & very tasty.


Ingredients:
Red Beans - 1 Cup
Chopped Onions – ½ Cup
Rice Flour – 1 Tbsp
Ginger – ½ Tbsp
Green Chilies – 3
Salt to taste
Oil

Method:

Soak Red beans 5 hours and remove the skin by smashing with your hand.

Take a tissue and rub it to dry

Grind the red beans, Ginger, Green Chilies, Salt, 3 tbsp water to hard batter.

Take the batter in bowl and add chopped onions and rice flour

Heat oil in a deep bottomed pan

Make the batter in to small lumps and drop into oil and fry to golden brown

Serve with Ginger chutney or coconut chutney.
