Ingredients:
Potatoes - 2 or 3 large
Peas - 1 cup (Frozen)
Tomato - 1 Large
Onion - 1 Large
Red Chili Powder
Garam Masala Powder - 1 Tbsp
Ginger-Garlic Paste - 1 Tbsp
Curd - 1 Tbsp
Pav Bhaji Masala - 1 1/2 Tbsp
Tomato Paste - 1/2 Cup ( Home made (or) Tinned)
Sugar - 1 Tbsp
Chilies
Cilantro
Salt
Butter
Pav Buns
Method:
Pressure cook potato,peel the skin and mash them nicely and keep it aside.
In a deep bottomed pan add little butter or oil, and add the chopped onions and Tomatos,fry it till onion turns golden colour
To this add Ginger-Garlic paste,along with the Garm masala powder and sugar, saute it for another 2 mins.
Now add tomato puree (Toamto paste gives wonderful color to the bhaji) and cook it for another 2 mins.
Now add mashed Potatoes with cup of water and tbsp curd and cook on medium flame for 5 to 10 mins with proper stirring.
In a quarter cup of water, mix Pav Bhaji masala and red chilli powder without lumps and pour this in to the gravy.Let it cook for just 2 - 3 mins
Have them with some fresh chopped Cilantro and with lemon juice along with nicely roasted Pav Buns.
