Masala Vada



Ingredients:


1 cup - Chana dal
1/2 cup - Chopped onion
1 Spring curry leaves
2 Tbsp - Chopped Cilento
4 - Green chillies chopped
2 - Red chilles
Oil for deep frying

Method:

Wash and soak chana dal for 3 hours,and drain them and keep it aside for 5 mins



Now takeout fistful of drained channa dal and grind the rest of the channa dal along with red and green chillies coarsely



To this mixture add chopped onions,cilentro,curry leaves and rest chana dal mix it thoroughly.

Heat the oil in a deep bottomed pan for frying.




Make small lemon-sized balls placing it on the finger just press it lightly with help of your thumb and slide it into hot oil(See the above figure).Deep fry until turns to golden colour.

Serve hot with any chutney or tamarind sauce.
