Mixed Vegetable Pakoda.


Hi my friends,I am back after a while with very tasty,crispy snack Mixed Veggie Pakoda.

All we need.

1 cup - Mixed veggie(Froze)
1/2 Cup - Cauliflower (very small florets)
1/2 Spinach - Finely chopped
1 Onion - small(finely chopped)
1 Big spoon of Beasn
2 Big Spoons of Rice flour
1 Tbsp - Garam Masala
1 tbsp - Ginger & Garlic paste
chilli powder
Salt
Oil for deep frying

Method:

Mix all the above veggies with ginger & Garlic paste,garam masala.

Then add chopped onion.

Now add rice flour,besan,chilli powder and salt mix it thoroughly by adding sufficient water.

Heat oil for deep frying,once oil heats,drop approximately tbsp of batter in to the oil.

Fry on medium heat till turns Golden colour.

Serve hot hot with hot sauce ......

Puffed rice upma.......



1 cup - Puffed rice
1 Small - Onion
1 Small - Tomato
4 green chillies
Peanuts - Handful
Salt

For seasoning:

Mustards
Jeera
Urad dal & Chana dal - 1 Tbsp
Turmeric - 1 Tbsp
Curry leaves - 1 Spring
Cilentro
Oil

Method:

Heat oil in a PaN ,once oil heats add mustards,jeera,urad & chana dal,Once seeds start spluttering add chopped green chilles,peanuts let it fry for 5 mins.

Then add chopped onions and tomato.let it fry till onions turn gloden colour.Now add turmeric and curry leaves.

Mean while soak puffed rice in deep bottemed vessel for about 5 mins.Once onions fried add the puffed rice and stir it properly.

Fianlly add required salt and cilentro.Remove from the flame.Thats all.

Enjoy with curd.

Pedas.........



I tried this before in a regular way by using milk powder it was quite tasty but not scored the 5 start rating.However, this time my friend advised me to do it differently,by using Sugar less kova(Mawa)and I can't thank her enough for the excellent outcome, 5 Start rating? You bet.

Thank you Anu......I am dedicating this tasty sweet to you dear.

All we need

Kova - 350 Grm(Frozen available in Indian super market)
Sugar - 1/2 Cup
1 Tbsp - Cardmom powder
Grated Almond and Cashew nuts - 2 Tbsp

Method:

In a microwave bowl melt the kova for approximately 3 mins.

Now in a pan take the melted kova and add sugar,cardmom powder,grated almond and cashew nuts powder and bring it to boil on medium flame.

Keep stirring it continuously till it thickens lightly and the colour turns to peach colour.

Take out from the stove and let it cool and make it into desired shapes.

Steamed Potatos In Yogurt



This is very simple recipe,goes very good with rotis.I am not very sure,but I heard this a Gujarati recipe.What ever but tastes good :-).....

Ingredients:

1 Potato - Medium
1 Cup - Curd
3 Green chilles
Paprika - 1/2 Tbsp
Besan - 2 Tbsp
Garam Masala powder - 1/2 Tbsp
Salt

For seasoning:

Oil
Mustards - 1/2 Tbsp
Jeera - 1/2 Tbsp
Bay leaf - 1

Method:

Peel the skin of potato and cut to small eatable cubes boil them and keep it aside.

In a bowl take curd beat it thoroughly,for this add chopped green chilles,paprika,Garam masala powder along with 1/2 cup water,mix it and keep it aside.

Now heat oil ,once oil heats add mustards,jeera,bay leaf.

Once seeds start spluttering add besan and fry it till little brown colour on medium flame.

Now add above mix along with boiled potatos,add another 1/2 cup water and required salt and let it cook for 5 to 10 mins....Thats all

Enjoy with rotis.....

Carrot Salad




Hi Friends I am back with Healthy Salad after a while.........you know spring started here,its very beautiful weather out.

You Know carrot and sprouts do great to our health,if you add little tangy ingredients to this it tastes great toooooooo.......

It is simple to make but benefits are countless.

All we need

2 Carrots (shredded)
1 Cup - Bean Sprouts
2 Tbsp - Lime juice
1 Tbsp - Vinegar
1/2 Tbsp - sugar
Pepper to taste

Method:

Mix all the above ingredients in a bowl and keep it like that for 15 mins.......thats all,enjoy with any juice.
